What is CFD?
Computational fluid dynamics, or CFD, is a virtual
prototyping tool that uses conservation laws of physics
to predict airflow and heat transfer in the modeled
system. With a few mouse clicks, the user can play
"what if" scenarios by repositioning or
replacing components. This allows engineers to test and
optimize designs without building costly physical
prototypes. The Coolit CFD software is optimized
specifically for predicting airflow and heat transfer in
electronic equipment.
