Coolit v18 steps up functionality and usability with improved user interface and new tools

October 2018

With release of the v.18 line of Coolit products, Daat Research delivers numerous improvements in product usability and functionality. The new release delivers phase change materials components, redesigns Objects Manager into a one-stop model control center, and optimizes CAD import on computers with multiple CPUs, resulting in an over 10x speed increase (with 4 or more CPU cores). It also simplifies turbulence modeling with blended wall functions, and adds the ability to import thermal models of IC packages. The user interface has been updated with flat controls, and the Model Check center has acquired additional controls for enhanced functionality and usability. Existing components models have been extended with temperature-dependent density and heat capacity.

The above new features and improvements are only a sample of the many advances implemented in this latest release.

Coolit and CoolitPCB v.18 are available now.
